A field trip is a visit to an area outside of the normal classrooms, where children can try new things, have different experiences, and learn valuable life lessons.

A field trip can be to many locations like a super market, a farm, a post office, a bank, a zoo park or a mall etc., where, students can see new sights and have hands on opportunities in wide variety of experiences.

Field trips enriches and expands the curriculum, strengthens observation skills by immersing children into sensory activities, increases children's knowledge in particular subject area and expands children's awareness of their own community.
